Well, if you don’t know, i’ll tell you! Today is the 20th annual American Diabetes Alert Day. The event was created by the American Diabetes Association to increase awareness about this dangerous and deadly disease. This year, the day centers around an online test that is posted on the ADA website, called the Diabetes Risk Test. The organization is asking everyone to go to their site and take the test to see if they are at risk of developing Diabetes. According to the ADA, 13.3 percent of African Americans over the age of 20 have the disease, so go on over and check that online test out!
