Here’s a nice story coming out of LA about a gentleman named Willie Earl Green. Last Thursday, Mr Green walked out of prison a free man, after it was determined that the prosecution’s star witness lied about parts of his testimony. What makes this story a nice one, is what Mr. Green achieved while in prison. Even though he knew he was serving a possible life sentence for a execution-style murder that he did not commit, he was able to obtain a college degree, and become a math teacher for his fellow inmates. On top of that, he says that he bears no hard feelings toward the man whose shoddy testimony put him behind bars for almost 25 years. Well I can say this, he’s a better man than me. What an inspiration!
